I upgraded from a SRAM 11-24 to this
11-28. The swap was easy and fast - and made a big difference in my ability to climb the foothills around Denver. If you're a strong rider, you may not need the extra help - but I did (do). I put a new chain on at the same time - and everything shifts quick and quiet. I highly recommend this product if you
ride a lot of hills and need a little extra help getting up and over.
